Delta-8 THC is a cannabinoid derived from the hemp (or Cannabis Sativa) plant. On a molecular level, delta-8 is very similar to delta-9 THC, which is the most abundant cannabinoid in the cannabis plant. (Delta-9 is what most people are referring to when they simply say THC. Delta-9 is what the U.S federal government deemed illegal.)
These cannabinoids both contain THC, or tetrahydrocannabinol, which is the chemical compound within the marijuana plant that is responsible for the psychoactive effect, or "high," users feel after they smoke, vape, or eat edibles.
Although cannabinoids are similar molecularly, there are key differences between delta-8 and other cannabinoids. Currently, there are over 100 different cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant, each with a unique 'personality' in regards to their affect on the human body.
HHC stands for hexahydrocannabinol. Hexahydrocannabinol is a hemp-derived chemical compound that can be found in trace amounts within the cannabis plant.
HHC is a hemp-derived chemical compound discovered in 1944 by an American chemist named Roger Adams. Adams discovered that by adding hydrogen molecules to delta-9 THC during a process called hydrogenation, creates a chemical reaction that converts THC into HHC. Initially, this process used THC cultivated from the cannabis plant, but nowadays, most HHC is hemp-derived.

When an order is received with a shipping address that is different from a billing address or an improper billing address, an order may be placed on hold. We do this in order to keep your card and bank information safe. You will receive a call and or an email from a representative at Chief Shop asking you to verify certain information. Once the information is verified, your order will begin to process and will be shipped out.
Unfortunately, we have noticed that USPS does not always update their tracking when items are received at the post office. This is an ongoing issue with the Postal Service. However, we do always stick to our Same Day Shipping policy. If you see that "Pre-Shipment Information" has been sent to USPS you can be assured that it was dropped off at the post office. Most times when this happens, you will notice that the tracking is only updated right before the package is delivered. Why do I have to submit the last four of my SSN?
If additional information is needed to complete age verification, you may be asked to submit the last four digits of your social security number. This information is neither stored nor shared by Age Checker and is solely used to attempt an automatic age verification.
Age Checker uses the last four digits of your social security number because it is a very reliable, secure, and unique identifier that can be used to authenticate your age.
Why am I being asked for a photo ID?
If additional information is needed to complete age verification, you may be asked to submit clear photos of yourself holding your ID and a photo of your ID. It is important that your photos meet these requirements otherwise Age Checker will be unable to confirm your age.
Photos are only reviewed by trained Age Checker staff, based in Austin Texas. Photos are used for the sole purpose of completing age verification and are securely transmitted via an encrypted protocol. Once verified all photos are removed from online servers.
Why isn't my photo ID be accepted?
Please make sure that when you submit a photo ID that it matches the name on your order. Age Checker will not accept another person's ID, even if valid, for your order.
Make sure that all photos submitted to Age Checker are clear and legible. It is important that Age Checker staff can see and read the information on your ID.

If you want to cancel an order, you must submit a CANCELLATION REQUEST form within 12 hours of the order being placed. Click here to submit a request.
Please Note: In an effort to process and ship orders as quickly as possible in accordance with our SAME DAY SHIPPING promise, we cannot guarantee that your cancellation request will be accepted. Because of our "Fast and Free" shipping process, your order may have already been processed and shipped by the time you submit a cancellation request. If this is the case, you will need to follow through with the normal return policy as stated on our return policy page.
Cancelled orders are subject to a 7% restocking fee due to the credit card processing and age verification fees incurred in the process of taking your order. This means that if your cancellation request is accepted, you will receive a refund minus 7% of the total order value. For example, if your order was $20, you will receive a refund in the amount of $18.60.
